I completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester in 2022, was awarded a First in Neuroscience BSc (Hons). In 2023, I completed an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience at UCL, where I also achieved a First.

Sports have always been a great part of my life, with my current focus being on long-distance running. In my DPhil project, I have been able to combine my devotion to both neuroscience and sports in a clinically meaningful way by investigating imaging markers that can help predict outcomes after head injuries in adolescents.

 Research Project

Title: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Study in 11-18 Year Olds with Traumatic Brain Injury

Aims/Objectives: To use a multimodal MRI approach to better understand the pathophysiology and evolution of traumatic brain injury in young people. By doing so, we hope to identify imaging findings (and other factors such as injury mechanism) that can help us better predict how well a child will recover after a head injury. Ultimately, this would enable us to identify children who have had a worse injury than indicated using the current conventional clinical assessment tools.
